A Mile In My Shoes

The purpose of this blog is to get out my ideas, thoughts, opinions as well as to allow people to see life through my eyes and gain a better understanding of who I am. Below is a list of information that will give you a snapshot of who I am.

• First let me say that I am a Christian but that doesn’t mean that I am perfect. I have my failures and shortcomings just like everyone else.
• I am a graduate student at NC State University
• I am a sports fanatic and love both NC State and Duke
• I am a Yankees and Braves fan…I know, I know you ask how can this be. Well my father grew up with Mickey Mantle as his childhood hero and I love the Braves because they used to be the only team in the southeast.
• I am a huge baseball, college basketball, college football, and NFL football fan (Go Panthers!)
• I am a basketball coach for a group of high schoolers at a local church and this is where my passion lies. It is amazing to see God work in their lives and I hope that I can allow for others to see my heart for them through this blog.
• I am a huge movies and music fan and nothing beats a good night of live music
• Lastly, I am blessed to have the friends and family that I have. They have shaped me into the person that I am today and for that I will always be grateful.

In closing, I would like to say that I try and live my life by what the Bible has to say. My favorite verse is “Be Merciful, just like your Father is Merciful” Luke 6:36.

I don’t claim to have all of the answers to life’s questions, but I believe in a God that does.
